This a thread for everyone to tell each other about those random heroes/favourites from your team (or others), those players who aren't the star names of the team but still have a place in your heart.

My ones would be:

Salomon Kalou: One of the most fustrating players I've seen in a Chelsea shirt (other than Jespar Gronkjaer), capable of brillliance, equally as capable of being anonymous in a game. Split the fans opinion from day one. I loved him because he always gave it his all, and had a habit of scoring important goals. Will miss him, and I know I'll be saying in the coming seasons 'we needed Kalou to come on here'...

Juliano Belletti: Was signed as nothing more than cover/utility player, quickly made himself a favourite by scoring spectacular goals, and combine that with special goals vs Spurs and its even better. The Wigan goal will take some beating though. Never played badly in whatever position he was thrown into :)

Will have a think and do some more.

Fire away.

Andy Johnson - Started well at us, worked his balls off and scored 2 goals in a memorable 3-0 derby win.

Made some massive mistakes, but I always loved his charisma and attitude. The time when he refused to stand in the goal for a penalty, got a yellow and then saved it was one of the best things I have seen in football.

AJ is a good shout for us.

Osman - Technically, very good. Let down in other areas but doesn't let it stand in the way of him playing well. His attitude is excellent as well.

Henrik had a great 7 or so games for us, often forgotten about but he made quite the impact in that season without much fuss being made.

Matt Derbyshire. Not much of a player, but he always managed to come on an score at the right time. I remember a few seasons ago, Roque Santa Cruz came on for us against Boro (in what was his first game for the club) and scored within a few minutes. Not to be outdone, Derbs came on and scored a beauty with his first touch.

He's kind of fallen off the radar after his surprising move to Olympiakos (where, it must be said, he did very well before they got a new manager). Came from non-League football, though, and has a solid PL record.

Not quite hit the heights he should have.. From what I have heard Forest fans aren't convinced of him yet, only scored about 3 goals all season.. same goes for Ishmael Miller.
