Messi scored 13 goals in 19 Clásico's, but has gone 362 minutes without scoring against Madrid

Yesterday, there were around 5.000 tickets left for tomorrow's Super Cup game against Real Madrid at the Camp Nou

Most Spanish Super Cups won: Barcelona 10 - Real Madrid 8 - Deportivo 3

Possible line-up (vs Real Madrid): Valdes - Alves, Pique, Mascherano/Puyol, Alba - Xavi Busquets Iniesta - Pedro Messi Alexis Sanchez.

Who was the bastard that voted for Real Madrid! :hater:

Record of Barcelona in 6 games against Real Madrid last season: 3W - 2D - 1L. At Camp Nou: 1W - 1D - 1L.

Barcelona's all-time record in 220 games against Real Madrid: 86W - 47D - 87L

Song: "When Arsenal told me Barça had asked for me, I thought: I'm a lucky boy. My wife told me not to let this chance slip by." [tv3]. "I'd like to play against Madrid. But I didn't play a complete game for a while, so I need more training to start a match." "I don't like to go out and party, I prefer to stay at home. When I do go out, it's with my wife or friends to have dinner."

Song played 24 accurate through balls in the EPL last season, more than any Barcelona player in the Liga minus Messi (56). New Barcelona midfielder Alex Song couldn't hold his tears when he talked by phone to his sons after signing his contract on Monday.

Cesc could tomorrow play his 50th game for Barcelona. So far, he has scored 15 goals and gave 17 assists in 49 games.

All-time clasico topscorers: Di Stefano 18 - Raul 15 - Cesar, Gento, Puskas 14 - Messi 13.

Teams vs which Messi has most goals+assists: Atletico 18+5, Sevilla 14+3, Real Madrid 13+10, Racing 12+4, Zaragoza 11+4

Tito Vilanova's Conference

Vilanova: "Pinto or Valdes will play? We will decide that tomorrow." "Song will adapt quickly. We have a very good squad. I'd have liked that Keita would have stayed, but this is a competitive squad". "Mourinho saying there's no hegemony of Barça because no 2CL in a row? Some teams don't even need titles to be remembered." "Mourinho saying Super Cup is the least important trophy? For me, a trophy is a trophy." "Guardiola can become coach of Brazil? He has decided to rest now, something I can perfectly understand."

Vilanova: "Alexis could play tomorrow? I didn't yet decide who'll play alongside Messi." "Madrid had good results at the Camp Nou last games? True, although every game has its own story." "We have to be aware of Madrid's counter attack, but we play at home and everybody knows our style." "Importance of tomorrow's game for me? I couldn't do my job well if I'm thinking the world will collapse if we lose." "Some rumours about Puyol having discomfort, can he play tomorrow? No problem, he can play."

An average of 3.3 goals per game has been scored in the 219 matches between Barcelona and Real Madrid so far

In 14 of the last 18 Spanish Super Cups, the team that scored the first goal won the trophy

Barcelona's all-time record in 74 clasicos at the Camp Nou: 40W - 17D - 17L

Barcelona's line-up (official): Valdes - Alves Pique Mascherano Adriano - Xavi Busquets Iniesta - Pedro Messi Alexis.
Barcelona's bench: Pinto, Puyol, Alba, Cesc, SergiRoberto, Tello, Villa
Not in match squad: Montoya, Bartra, Fontas, Song, Dos Santos, Afellay

Real Madrid line-up (official): Casillas - Arbeloa Albiol Ramos Coentrao - Alonso Khedira - Callejon Ozil Ronaldo - Benzema

-_- I don't know why Tito and Guardiola don't like Afellay.

Why not a neutral ground?

Just saw that it's over two legs, not like the Community shield then.

Half-Time score: 0-0. Barcelona has had a couple of chances to score. Overall, the team is playing great. I think we need to attack more on the middle, Pepe isn't there and they look weak there. I would use Villa as a CF. The mistakes from last season continue existing this season, the unnecessary and excessive passes close to the opponent's area. Nobody tries to shoot from outside when all of them are good doing that.

Afellay not even called, it seems he will be gone, hopefully on loan, because paying 3 million euros was a real bargain for us, it would be a waste to let him go. We need to score.

Shots first half: Barcelona 9-1 Real Madrid
Posession: Barcelona 76%, Real Madrid 24%
