I went back and watched the whole fight again, after coming across that picture yesterday. Epic fight.

I was only 9. I still remember watching it the next morning before School. I had only been watching wrestling for a few months at that point.

Those were beautiful days, when you could actually get WWE PPVs on Channel 4 for free!

The Network is the one though. Access to all major wrestling from the last 30 years plus a PPV every month is a steal at £10 a month IMO.

I just watched Shawn Michaels Vs Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 20. Epic! Michaels and Flair I could watch all day.

Yeah, it's great value. If I thought I'd ever get round to rewatching the older stuff I'd probably sign up despite currently getting everything for free.

I loved the Attitude era, used to tune in every week on the hope Viscera had a match, when he wasn't i was gutted.

I even loved this and it was a fuck up just because i got to see him.

I miss you big man.

That Undertaker vs Mankind match was crazy. I remember staying up to watch live with it being a school night and it was surreal. How he managed to not only get up from the first throw off the cage, to continue and then thrown from the cage straight down to the ring with the tooth knocked out that it ended up hanging out his nose was ridiculous.

It's a shame the channel 4 deal didn't go as well as it should have done. After their first PPV shown live of Royal Rumble 2000 where Mae Young ended up being topless, you had the brutal, graphic street fight between Triple H and Cactus Jack they were so shocked by the severity of it the other PPV's they showed from then on were shown on delay, commercials put in and editing anything they thought was inappropriate. It; wasn't as if WWE suddenly went completely different, it was still the product they wanted to be apart off in the first place, but yeah come end of 2001 it was done and good riddance.

“When we won the league at Tottenham, they came back 2-2 in the last-minute of the game, and they’re celebrating – because they’re happy to draw against us, obviously. And I remember saying to Mauricio Tarricco, do you realise we only need a point to be Champions? And they all (were really shocked). So I said ‘Yes. Now we’re going to celebrate on your pitch. Bye bye!'”

Thierry Henry on winning the league at White Hart Lane!!!
