Really important that we hit the ground running at the start of the season. Elland Road is one of the toughest places to go, but we need to assert our authority early on the game. Get at them from the first minute, and expose their very leaky defense. It'll be interesting to see how the team gels together for the first time in a game of this importance. Looking forward to seeing who Stale goes with up front with Nouble, SEB, Doyle and Bjorn all battling for places.
I'll go with a confident 2-1 victory to kick off our push for promotion. UTW.

Subs (from): Colin Doyle, Wade Elliott, Adam Rooney, Nikola Zigic, Nathan Redmond, Jonathan Spector, Pablo Ibanez.
Good luck to Butland and Packwood. Packwood looked good in pre-season and Butland looked strong in the Olympics.

An inept, insipid performance. Par for the course, though.Blackburn drew.

Wolves looked a bit poor but things will pick up. Alot of quality still there and when the want aways leave they could have a decent side. Hammill,Pescko and Hunt is still a good set of wingers even without Kightly and Jarvis. Should still socre goals too.

Watched the Leeds game. Warnock has them back to the dirty Leeds days and they will cause a few teams problems. Austin in midfield will pick up bookings but is the sort of cunt you need in midfield to get through this league.

Wolves were pretty rotten I thought. On paper they should have given it a much better go. I refuse to believe Ebanks-Blake and Doyle won't score lots of goals.

I hate Leeds fans
I hate Neil Warnock
I hate Paddy Kenny
I hate Ken Bates
Also on tonights match - Colin Kazim-Richards has had a good start to the season, pleased to see. Apparently he whipped his shirt off and kung-fu kicked the corner flag!

Two in two for us, and two in pre-season as well. Doing very well so far early in his Rovers career. Just came off injured, but hopefully it's just a minor knock. If one team could fail this season I'd love nothing more than it to be Leeds.

Agree they are ridiculously tense not knowing really what the fuck is going on
Also, I fucking hate listening to matches on the radio. Does my nerves in.

I hate Paddy Kenny. He's got the Leeds bug where he thinks because the club was once great they have the right to be loved. Wanker.
