Unispiring draw. I'd take the home tie but you'd expect all the big boys to go through.

We'd of gone out to city if we'd beaten Leeds. Makes me feel 2% better

Concentrating on the league? At least you'll be trying against City this time.

Can't beat a home draw. Glazers will be happy with the extra revenue as well.

Doesn't the away team get half the revenue in he FA cup?

Not quite.

If it's an all-Premier League game, both teams get 45% and 10% goes into the Pool.

If it's a Premier League v Lower League, the Prem team gets 40%, the Lower League team get 50% and 10% goes into the Pool

The Pool is a fund held by The Association to be divided at the completion of the Competition between the FA Premier League and the Football League for onward distribution to the Clubs in the FA Premier League  and the Football League which participated in the Competition.  The 5% payment to The Association for replayed matches in the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Rounds of the Competition Proper shall

be divided at the completion of the Competition amongst all the Clubs outside the FA Premier League and The Football League playing in the First Round of the Competition Proper.

I've gotta come down from that high I experienced yesterday.

Paul Dickov has after being given an ultimatum today, Oldham's chairman has said he "has every right to sack him".

Strange timing.

I think that's fair. I'm sure it's more important for Oldham to stay up, despite the buzz beating the vermin has given them.

If he can get them raising their game like that, why not to at least 80% of that every week?

Part of me says that yesterday gives him a bit more time, possibly until we play Everton in the next round. The other part of me feels like they'll sack him if we drop into the relegation zone.

But yeah, I don't understand how we can take out Forest and Liverpool in the FA Cup, yet we can't manage to get ourselves turned around in the league. While I loved seeing Oldham pull of a victory yesterday, staying in League One has to be priority over everything else at his point.
